Byron Davison Memorial




Friends of Byron Davison have established a Memorial category in the Rodeo this year and have requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made for a tribute in the Rodeo magazine and a special prize for the winning angler. Hannis "Byron" Davison born September 24, 1950, and passed away April 11, 2018. He was born in Fairhope, AL. He worked for BellSouth telephone Co. from 1969 until retirement in 2001 from AT&T.He is pre-deceased by his parents Walter & Inez Davison. He is survived by his two daughters Dana (Larry) Hood, Lillian, AL; Sandi Davison Pensacola, FL, and his grandaughter Blakeli Hood, Lillian.

The Memorial category will be called the Byron Davison Memorial Mullet Buster Award. The winner of this award will be a registered, open division angler with the heaviest aggregate three (3) mullet. The award is $100 cash.
